

Denise H. Abramow has served in an of-counsel capacity with The Penn Law Firm, P.C. since 2007. Ms. Abramow has been practicing law since 1992 in the areas of commercial litigation, creditor’s rights, lender representation, and appellate practice.
Denise is a graduate of Florida State University (B.F.A, 1987, cum laude) and University of Florida College of Law (J.D. 1991), graduating in the top 25% of her class. Ms. Abramow has served as a federal judicial law clerk for the Honorable William Terrell Hodges, United States District Judge, and the Honorable Harvey E. Schlesinger, United States District Judge, United States District Court, Middle District of Florida. She was selected for a special appointment to assist the Court in resolving bankruptcy appeals.
She has authored The Florida Bar News, "Matthew-Bender’s Search Master CD-ROM Bankruptcy Library," August 1, 1993, and co-author in American Bar Association Bankruptcy Litigation Manual, Chapter II - "Procedural Considerations in Bankruptcy Litigation" and Fundamentals of Bankruptcy Law and Procedures in Nevada, National Business Institute, March, 1997. Denise was a speaker for the Risk Manager’s Association in March 2004 regarding "Top Ten Strategies for Creditors in Bankruptcy Court."
Denise is a member of the State Bars of Nevada, Florida and Georgia. She has been a member of the Nevada Bar since 1996, a member of the Georgia Bar since 1994, and a member of the Florida Bar since 1992. She is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States. Ms. Abramow has actively participated in the non-profit sector including service as a Director on the Board of the Florida Dance Association, as a Board Member and as President of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada for 2003-2004. Denise has participated as Pro Bono Counsel in the State of Florida Guardian Ad Litem Program. She is a proud graduate of the 2005 Class of Leadership Las Vegas. |
